In order to take good care of children‘s eyes and let them have a bright future, Huangpu District Health Committee Supervision Institute, together with the District Education Bureau, jointly built the myopia prevention and control healthy lighting model classroom to provide a unified standard and reference for the subsequent lighting transformation of schools.

The selection of schools participating in the transformation of healthy lighting model classrooms is selected from the schools participating in the special action of "daylighting of myopia prevention and control classrooms in primary and secondary schools". The scale is different and has certain representativeness.

The model classroom is equipped with a new adjustable LED lamp, which can adjust the overall brightness through single lamp and switch control. The LED lamp combination can be set as class mode, projection mode, activity mode, self-study mode, examination mode and class meeting mode according to the national illumination standard. The intelligent light illumination adjustment not only improves the light environment of the classroom and the visual environment of students, but also meets the requirements of healthy lighting of the whole area, whole period and multi scene in the classroom.

The results showed that the average illuminance of the desk, the average illuminance of the blackboard and the distance between the light and desk of the two classrooms were in line with the national standards.

Classroom lighting condition is one of the important factors that affect students‘ eyesight health. There are some problems in the classroom without lighting transformation, such as insufficient lighting, insufficient number of traditional lamps, untimely maintenance, low efficiency of lamps, uneven light distribution and so on.

Huangpu health supervisor pointed out that schools should scientifically and reasonably arrange classroom lighting according to different teaching forms, so as to flexibly adjust the classroom light environment. The projector or electric fan in some classrooms occupy the installation position of lamps and lanterns, so the mixing of single tube classroom lamp, double tube classroom lamp, transverse and longitudinal lamps and lanterns can be used to improve the lighting. When using multimedia teaching equipment in ordinary classroom, the visual comfort should be considered. According to different light conditions, classroom lighting, curtains and other facilities should be used correctly.
