Youngor primary school, the predecessor of Ningbo No. 4 higher primary school, was founded in 1912. Before liberation, she had enlightened a group of famous people, such as Bao Wenkui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; After liberation, it has become the cradle of cultivating Shiqi people. After 80 years of ups and downs, she has always been transporting talents for one side of the land no matter how the times change. By the 1990s, the local economy had been revitalized and the pace of reform had increased. She was old and cramped and could not adapt to the development of the times. Therefore, with the care and support of the higher education administrative department, the then Shiqi Town People‘s government and Youngor Garment Co., Ltd., 45.8 mu of land was selected in 1994, with an investment of more than 14.2 million yuan. A modern school building of more than 9741 square meters was built and renamed Youngor primary school; In 2003, with the strong support of Shiqi Street government, more than 2 million yuan was invested to build a modern plastic playground covering an area of more than 10000 square meters, so as to further improve the school running conditions.
In recent years, with the strong support of superior departments, Youngor primary school has been committed to the establishment of modern school running mode and increased investment. Now each classroom is equipped with modern teaching multimedia equipment, each teacher has a computer, and the computer allocation rate of the school is among the best. At present, Youngor primary school has 30 classes with 1447 students; 94 teaching staff, including 74 full-time teachers, 31 with senior titles in primary schools, accounting for 41.9%, 29 with first-class titles in primary schools, accounting for 39.2%, and 14 with primary titles, accounting for 18.9%; All the teachers of the University have reached the national qualifications, including 32 with bachelor‘s degree, accounting for 43.2%, and 37 with college degree, accounting for 50%; In addition, the school has also actively created conditions and trained a large number of excellent teachers through various ways, including 2 provincial-level excellent educators, 2 Municipal Excellent educators, 1 district-level principal, 23 district-level excellent educators and 22 municipal and district-level rookies.
